Hey everyone!

I was accepted as an intern/missionary for Casas por Cristo starting in January!

This Ministry headquartered in El Paso, Casas por Cristo (Houses because of Christ) builds homes for poor families in Mexico, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua using the labor and resources of volunteers from across the United States and Canada.

The average four-person family that we build for earns $60 a week and lives in a house made of cardboard and palettes, with a dirt floor. In three and a half days, volunteer teams transform an empty lot into a home complete with a cement foundation, electricity, security windows and door, drywall, and insulation.

While the homes are provided free to the recipient family, it is not the only gift given. The families are shown the love and provision of Jesus Christ through the building process. Through the meeting of physical needs, the gospel of Christ is being introduced. The rewards for both the volunteers and the recipient families are many.

I need to raise money to participate in this internship program. The cost of the internship is to go towards building expenses, building homes for families, transportation and housing. Please be in prayerful consideration about supporting both financially and through prayer.
